If you've seen the movie "Girl with a Pearl Earring", this is the painting that Vermeer is working on.

If you ever see the original at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, you'll be able to spot where Vermeer painted over the chair below the window. The paint has become more translucent over time. You'll also see it in my replica.
