This is what I actually remembered having made an impression on me that night at the vigil on Pier A. Anyone that was there that night will tell you that as the 'Comfort' passed by, people were silent.

I did this drawing from memory a couple of days later.

All the elements for the final version were here, but I felt it doesn't portray the event well enough visually.

Notice the 'mother and child' figure in front of the tall building.
