Hoboken Homeless Shelter Art Class
Examples of my students artwork from the Hoboken Homeless Shelter. The mission of my visual arts workshop was to help the clients create and sell prints, paintings, collages and drawings. They recieved 75% of the sale, and the rest went back into the art supplies fund.
During the October 2002 Hoboken Artists’ Studio Tour, I sold $409 of their work, which was the second highest sale that day, and by far the highest volume of work sold. In December 2002, I sold another $98 of their work at the Hoboken Holiday Craft Show.
